About Mosa

Hi! I’m Jessica—the hands and heart behind MOSA.
I grew up in Taiwan and now call Seattle home. Even though they’re worlds apart, they both share that same magic: the salty ocean breeze, the misty rain, and that deep, grounding calm you only feel after a big storm.
But moving here wasn't easy. I landed in a new country with no friends and no family nearby. There were so many nights where the loneliness felt heavy, and the silence in my room was too loud. I was lost, honestly, just trying to figure out who I was when I had no one around to remind me.
In those quiet, isolated moments, I started making candles. Slowly, the act of pouring and molding became my therapy. I realized I wasn't just making objects; I was building my own peace, piece by piece.
I realized that if I could create a little warmth for myself, I could create it for you, too. MOSA was born from that need for comfort. I don’t want to give you a "perfect" decorative object; I want to give you a companion for your own quiet nights. Every piece I pour is a reminder that even when things feel a bit heavy, we can always find a way to create our own light.
I hope these pieces bring you the same steady comfort they gave me when I needed it most.
Jessica
Where island soul meets evergreen spirit.
Even across the ocean, my roots remain in Taiwan. I created MOSA to bridge these two worlds—pairing the textures of the Pacific Northwest with the memories of my heritage. It’s my way of staying connected to where I come from, one glow at a time.

Let’s Connect
I’m usually in my studio with wax-covered hands, but I’d love to hear from you. Whether you have a question about a piece, want to share how a candle brought you a little peace, or just want to say hi—don’t be a stranger. Since I'm a one-woman show, it might take me a moment to get back to you, but I promise I read every single note.
Can't wait to hear from you.
